According to the American Heritage Desk Dictionary, sacrifice, is the act of offering something to a deity, especially the ritual slaughter of a victim. The Sacrificial Lamb is just the reverse. Deity gave His life for the sins of mankind in the ritualistic form worthy of a common murderer under the cruel and heartless authority of the Roman Empire.

Jesus Christ, in His entire life of 33.5 years, NEVER SINNED. He never stained His soul; with even a sinful thought or desire. All of humanity, past, present, and future, born into sin has needed a blood sacrifice to cleanse their blemished souls. This chapter shows what God did for His creation and how Jesus made it possible for us to live free for all eternity.
